Terms of Service  

By booking an appointment you agree to adhere to our terms of service. 

Payment 

Payment can be made by cash at the time of appointment or by bank transfer within seven days of treatment unless agreed otherwise. Invoices and receipts can be provided by email or Fax if required. 

We do not deal with insurance companies directly, if you wish to claim on your insurance for any treatment full payment is required as outlined above, we can then provide you with invoices/ receipts that you can forward to your insurance company as part of your claim. 

Payment for Simulator sessions is to be made by bank transfer at the time of booking and is non refundable unless your space can be filled. This is due to the cost of hiring the facilities and large amount of people booking sessions and not turning up. 

Cancellation Policy 

While we appreciate that life with animals is never straight forward and there is times when appointments may need to be cancelled or re arranged we kindly ask for, where possible, 48 Hours notice for changes or cancellations to appointments.

This allows us to fill the slot with another client which reduces our waiting times and allows us to continue to provide a flexible service, particularly on evenings and at the weekends.  

Less than 48 hours notice will incur a 75% charge of total fee quoted unless there are exceptional/ unforeseen  circumstances that forces cancellation, please discuss this with us. 

Missed sessions must be paid for in full. 

Service Provision 

We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone for any reason at any time. 

While every effort is made to ensure the safety of the animal and riders/handlers during sessions we accept no liability for any loss or injury occurred during the session. We ask that owners/ handlers provide us with a safe environment to work in and that handlers/riders are competent. 

We reserve the right to use any photos/ videos taken during sessions for purposes of marketing, social media and on our website - if you do not wish for this to happen please inform us at the time they are taken. 

Our Obligation to you as the Client 

We will offer you a professional service that adheres to our professional and governing body guidelines (ACPAT, CSP, HCPC)  

We will handle any data or information you provide to us in a confidential and sensitive manor.  

As part of assessment and treatment you should expect: 

  • Full explanation of how physiotherapy can help your horse including any adverse effects

  • Fully assess your animal prior to treatment and explain this to you

  • Explain any treatment modalities used during treatment session

  • Gain consent from your Vet and provide summary of treatment to your vet on discharge

  • Refer you back to the vet for further investigations/advice where appropriate

What we expect from you as the Client 

  • To Inform the physiotherapist immediately if you are unhappy with any treatment you or your horse has received

  • Notify us of any change to your animals condition or medical history

  • Read and adhere to our terms and conditions 

  • You are entitled to refuse treatment at any time

  • You are entitled to view your record at any time - please contact us in writing to arrange
